Tanner had a kind heart.

One day I got a call from his high school principal. She proceeds to tell me what wonderful person Tanner is, he is respectful, kind very helpful. So popular with his peers but.... he's suspended. You need to come pick him up.

I was silent for a second, a little confused. She had just stated what a good kid he was. I asked, is he with you right now? Did he just hear everything you said. She says yes. With a sigh, I asked what happened. She said he had an e cig and was caught in the bathroom it's an automatic suspension.

First thing he says when I pick him up, I'm sorry mom.

Next thing he says, can I go skate?

It was a heck of a ride Tanner. I miss you so much.

Tanner was my boyfriend and best friend built in one. Tanner taught me so much about life and love and the things that really matter in life. He put his family first and never let anything get in his way. He was so kind, loving, adventurous, hilarious, and genuinely the best person I’ve ever known. I’ll always wish for more time but I will be forever thankful for every second I got to spend with him. I love you forever Tanner.
